After taking myself out for a coffee at a semi local (about 10 min walk) cafe to write up my plan for NaNoWriMo (that’s National Novel Writing Month) I went on a bit of a ramble through the suburb I call home. There’s quite a lot of cool graffiti, given the number of people in the area who are what you might call disadvantaged it’s hardly surprising, but I have to admit the gentrification of the area is almost complete. There’s hardly any of the shabby sharehouse type places left and the housing commission estates are covered in tags, rather than art, but even then not as much as I would have imagined.
So here are my photos from today’s adventure.

Experimenting with lens flare I tried to capture the graffiti takeover of this pub – it hasn’t been vacant long but the opportunists are in already

Seriously, writing your name in big letters does not make you a graf artist, I hope KwizHard does take that wall and show Rope how it’s done
Now speaking of NaNoWriMo, I have to tell you all that for the next month (starting tomorrow) I will be desperately trying to write 50,000 words and as a result may be really quiet on the blog front. Hopefully I will get the novel written and will be able to report to you all by this time next month, that I am the proud author of a second novel!
