March Book Events!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted, but I promise I’ve been very busy in the background. I was recently at a book fair held at Kryal Castle in Victoria. The setting was super fun, and a bit kitschy and the people there were ready to read – you might even call them voracious! I have a photo of me there, see below, kindly provided by Golden Wing Press.

I will be at Clunes Booktown again this year, 21-22 March. This annual festival is now in its 20th year, held at the very cute Victorian town of Clunes, where they take over the main streets with book sellers, including indie authors like me, second hand traders and more. It’s a fantastic event, I was there last year, and I met lots of excellent people. I’d love you to come and visit, though be warned that the phone coverage can be spotty, and you may want to bring cash as a backup.

I’ll be in the ‘A Novel Bunch’ tent with a few of my indie author friends, which is in the middle of the main area in tent J. Clunes Booktown is a ticketed event ($15 entry to the book traders/festival area, plus other tickets for relevant talks/events).

I will also be at Australian Romance Readers Association ‘A Romantic Rendezvous‘ event on 28 March, held in Preston. This is a strictly ticketed event for romance lovers, with events in four major Australian cities.

If you would like to preorder books for either festival, you can use these links for Clunes and for ARR2026.

I look forward to seeing you all there!

Well done Fleur! You are really good at promoting your work. I hope to have my novel The Fourth Floor published this year, so I’ll be in touch to try and pick your brains over coffee. It will be good to see you again in any case. My book of poems Second Sight comes out in July 2026, and I’ll invite you to the launch in Williamstown. Chris x
