Launch Day: Winds of Change

It’s out in the world, Winds of Change: a steamy paranormal romance collection. I’m very pleased to be part of the anthology of ten authors that’s not available on Kindle Unlimited and Amazon.

We had a fabulous book launch on Halloween night in Melbourne at the Wheelers Hill Library, I wasn’t able to attend because I have a dumb cold; unfortunately germs are everywhere and sometimes they get you.

My story in the collection, Pillion for a Police Officer, is the story of two friends exploring whether they might be more than friends.

Petra Gillies, one of my main characters, has some special abilities, here’s a short excerpt from me story that might whet your appetites:

When her grandmother died, Petra was in high school, and she could see her time running out clearly. It wasn’t exactly seeing, more like she just knew. When her grandmother’s time was nearly up, Petra took her hand, and whispered in her ear:

“It’s okay, Nanna. There’s nothing to fear on the other side, it’s just like falling asleep.” She had looked into her grandmother’s pale blue eyes and watched the fear slip away as her last breath left her body. For a few moments afterwards, it was as though time was suspended, then a sudden silence, like someone had turned off a buzzing light.

I’d love for you to read more about Petra and her best friend’s sister, Riley Holmes, a motorcycle police officer in San Destino. You can also leave a review on Goodreads or Amazon, it really helps us with sales and promotions.
