I may have mentioned that the last couple of years I’ve entered work into the Incognito Art Show, an Australian project aiming to help support arts organisations, provide pathways for emerging artists and inspire new artists and collectors alike. The idea is that you submit up to 3 artworks on the supplied A5 pages, and they are sold to fundraise. The twist is that they are advertised without the artists name being shown. This is designed to eliminate the ‘name brand’ bias that some artists enjoy, and that excludes other lesser known artists. All the artworks are sold for the same price too, so you could be getting something highly valuable for the same price as the person next door.
In previous years I’ve done reimaginings of tarot cards, and last year I did quotes that resonated to me. I’m not someone who feels especially skilled in visual arts/drawing, but I have enjoyed getting together my ideas and trying to execute them to the level that I want.

I can’t show you the works I’ve done this year, since that would spoil the ‘incognito’ element, but maybe in a couple of months I’ll do a reveal.
I would encourage you all to have a browse of the artworks on the website, they will be adding more over the next month or so as the final entries come in, and see if there’s something that takes your fancy. You could even enter next year and maybe someone will take your artwork home.
I’ve also started work on a third book in my San Destino series, so I hope to have that out before the end of the year. This may be an ambitious timeline but we’ll see how I go. I hope you’re all cosy and getting ready for the chilly weather (if you’re in the southern hemisphere), or ramping up towards summer if you’re in the northern hemisphere. If you live in the tropics I don’t understand how those seasons work, so I trust you’re doing okay.
